The great moment of the Spanish footballer once again brought the comparison with the Englishman to the table. Although they play different roles, both have outstanding offensive records.

Fermín López and Jude Bellingham have attacking presence, goals, and the ability to make an impact in important matches. The difference lies in how they reach those numbers. Fermín is characterized by his directness and his appearances in attacking areas, while Bellingham combines that attacking presence with a much broader involvement in Real Madrid's build-up play.

Two midfielders with different skill sets

Fermín plays with an intensity that is especially noticeable near the six-yard box. He attacks spaces, presses aggressively, and usually looks for goal when he has the chance. He doesn’t need to rack up too many touches to finish a move dangerously.

Bellingham has more responsibilities in the build-up. He can receive the ball in his own half, carry it forward, beat opponents, and get into the box. His physique allows him to cover a lot of ground and take part in different areas during the same match.

They are different profiles and, precisely for that reason, the comparison is so interesting . Barcelona finds in Fermín a footballer capable of providing imbalance and aggression, while Real Madrid has in Bellingham a midfielder with broader responsibilities within its playing structure. It is worth noting that they are surrounded by excellent teammates who make their skills stand out and vice versa.

The Spaniard's performance against Valencia, with direct involvement in three goals, once again showed that he can take center stage when Barcelona needs to decide a match through individual talent as well as collectively.

Lopez is still far from the stature that Jude has within European football. The Englishman has more experience, more prominence, and greater influence at Real Madrid . The comparison, however, begins to make sense when you look at the attacking numbers being produced by the Barcelona player.

Bellingham still has the edge in hierarchy and influence within his team. Fermín is still taking steps to get closer to that level, but his growth has already sparked a comparison that not long ago seemed premature.
