Official: Livakovic signs for Barça
The veteran Croatian goalkeeper strengthens Barça's goal until June 2030

Dominik Livakovic is now a Barcelona player. The veteran Croatian goalkeeper underwent his medical in recent hours and Barça confirmed his signing today. He has signed for four seasons and the deal with Fenerbahce was completed for a fixed fee of two million euros plus half a million in add-ons. The player is under contract until June 2030.
The Catalan club officially announced today the signing of Dominik Livakovic , a 31-year-old Croatian goalkeeper. The shot-stopper, who arrived yesterday in Barcelona , comes from Fenerbahce , a club with which he was under contract until June 2028. He strengthens Flick's goalkeeping department, which already includes Joan García and Szczesny . Ter Stegen, who was not in Flick's plans, left on loan to Míchel's Ajax.
More experience in Barça's goal
The international goalkeeper has had a long career. He played, for example, 310 matches with Dinamo Zagreb , 108 with NK Zagreb , 74 with Fenerbahce. .. he also played for Girona , where he was on loan for a few months in the 25-26 season, although he did not feature in any matches for the Montilivi.
The intention of Barcelona is for Livakovic to be Hansi Flick's second goalkeeper. The first is Joan García , but the Croatian international, who has 79 caps for his national team, would therefore move ahead of Szczesny. The Catalan club is nevertheless waiting to know exactly what its situation is with fair play in order to confirm his place on the Barça bench, since if they cannot fit his registration in, he will go out on loan to another club.
The arrival of the international player means that Eder Aller and Iker Rodríguez, if it is confirmed that Livakovic is staying at Spotify Camp Nou, will have less prominence in the first team of the Blaugrana side.
