Some internet users claim, arguing that the Vinicius of Brazil does not have the thigh tattoos that the Vinicius of Madrid has , that the player seen against Australia during Brazil's training camp would not be the real Vinicius.

Vinicius's physical changes fuel conspiracy theories about him

The change in Vinicius's appearance also serves as fuel to fan the flames of this far-fetched conspiracy that was born mainly on forums and TikTok accounts in Brazil in September 2026.

'Some have gone so far as to link Vinicius's physical change, and the introduction of a double, to the alleged invasion of reptilian aliens during the World Cup to abduct Vinicius and Neymar .'

"I have to tell you that I dreamed again about aliens invading the soccer field in Miami. And I clearly saw how they took the players away in the first ship that arrived. I was inside that ship. When the ship ascended, the mothership arrived and abducted thousands of people from the soccer field. I saw so many screams, so much crying, so many tears and suffering," said Vo Bahiana in a video that has gone around the world, unsuccessfully prophesied the psychic Vo Bahiana.

The player's entourage and Real Madrid itself completely ignore these senseless "fake news" that emerged on the internet.
