The latest update on Vanessa Trump’s health following her breast cancer leaves Tiger Woods feeling very relieved
The 48-year-old shares the positive results in an emotional video with daughter Kai and Dr. Nicole Saphier

Vanessa Trump has shared encouraging news about her health, revealing that recent medical tests showed no signs of breast cancer, around six months after she disclosed her diagnosis.
The 48-year-old announced the update in a short video posted to Instagram by her daughter, Kai Trump , on October 23.
“It came back clear, and I’m finally cancer-free,” Vanessa said in the clip, marking a hopeful milestone following months of treatment.
Kai , 19, joined her mother and Dr. Nicole Saphier for the video, explaining that they wanted to share Vanessa’s experience and discuss prevention. The post also previewed a longer conversation about the disease and the importance of recognizing potential warning signs.
“I sat down with my mom and Dr. Nicole Saphier to talk about my mom’s journey with breast cancer and learn more about prevention and early detection,” the caption from Kai read.
“My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in April, so we thought we would share her story and how she was diagnosed and how she overcame it.”
Vanessa first revealed in May that she’d been diagnosed with breast cancer in April. At the time, she explained that she was working with her medical team to determine the best course of treatment.
She later confirmed that she’d undergone surgery as part of her care, while supporters, including Ivanka Trump , sent messages wishing her strength and a speedy recovery.
Although Vanessa’s latest announcement is positive, she hasn’t publicly shared further details about her treatment or any future medical plans.
A positive development for her family
Vanessa shares five children with her former husband, Donald Trump Jr. The pair separated in 2018, and she later began a relationship with golf superstar Tiger Woods , which became public in 2025.
While Woods hasn’t publicly commented on Vanessa’s latest health update, the news marks an encouraging development for the people closest to her. Her announcement has also brought renewed attention to the challenges faced by those navigating a cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Kai has been dealing with a health setback of her own. The young golfer revealed in October that she’d undergone surgery to repair a wrist injury sustained during her first tournament of the season.
She’d initially hoped to avoid surgery but said the decision was made after discussions with her family, coaches and athletic training staff.
Vanessa’s experience also highlights the importance of breast cancer awareness. According to the American Cancer Society, approximately one in eight women in the United States will develop breast cancer during their lifetime.
Early detection and advances in treatment have helped improve outcomes for many patients, although individual treatment plans depend on the type and stage of the disease.
