The singer took advantage of the holiday to enjoy the beach and share several summer looks that did not go unnoticed.
Labor Day brought Dua Lipa a much-needed break . This Monday, September 7, the singer stepped away from her usual routine for a few hours by the sea and gave her followers a glimpse of how she spent the day.
“Everyone left the city for Labour Day... so naturally I observed the holiday too,” she wrote on Instagram, accompanying the images with a humorous caption. The phrase showed that Dua did not want to miss out on a tradition that, for many, marks the end of summer.
The singer was joined by a couple of friends, enjoying the beach and having a few drinks as she took in the relaxed holiday atmosphere.
But Dua did not stick to just one look throughout the day. The carousel also featured several of her style changes.
Bikinis and summer looks that defined her day
One of the first outfits she showed off was a black two-piece bikini, paired with a blue baseball cap that gave the look a much more casual feel .
She later appeared in a neon yellow T-shirt with a star on the front, revealing the bikini underneath. In another photo, she opted for a green dress with pink details and a touch of lace at the neckline, while wearing her hair up.
The outfit changes kept the post firmly in summer mode, but there was still one photo that strayed far from the beachy vibe and ultimately became the standout image of the carousel.

Among the images in her post, Dua Lipa appeared reclining, with her hair down and a choice that immediately turned up the heat: a fitted, sheer black slip dress worn over matching black lingerie .
But there was something else about the scene. Dua did not need a red carpet or a carefully staged pose to create that effect. The image was simply part of her Labor Day recap, an apparently casual snapshot that ended up being one of the most daring photos in the entire post .

Dua Lipa is still away from the stage for now
The break also comes at an interesting point in the singer's career. Dua Lipa does not currently have an active tour or any concerts scheduled in the near future.
Her Radical Optimism Tour officially wrapped up at the end of December 2025 after traveling to different cities, including several stops in Latin America such as Santiago and Mexico City.
For now, there are also no official dates announced for a new tour in 2027, leaving her fans watching closely for any sign of what her next professional move might be.
