"E mma Heming , Bruce Willis 's wife, has shared a moving new photograph of the actor on her Instagram profile, coinciding with World Frontotemporal Dementia Awareness Week (FTD) , the neurodegenerative disease suffered by the Hollywood star.
Accompanying the image, in which Willis can be seen wearing comfortable clothes, a hat, and sunglasses , Heming has dedicated some heartfelt words intended to shed light on the reality of caregivers and families going through this same process. In her message, she highlights that the actor "would be proud to know that he is helping other families" and reaffirms her firm commitment to the cause: "I will not allow his diagnosis to be in vain".

The aim of the publication is to use the family’s media platform during World FTD Week so that other caregivers and affected households feel heard and supported in their respective journeys. “I can’t go through World Frontotemporal Dementia Awareness Week without talking about Bruce. He is the driving force behind my advocacy work,” begins the text written by Bruce Willis’s wife.
"In this new stage of his life, Bruce continues building his legacy. He is, and always will be, a fucking legend. And I am very proud to be his wife," she adds. Following his diagnosis, the family has focused its efforts on providing him with the greatest possible comfort, having previously moved to a single-story adapted home with full-time medical assistance.
As part of her awareness-raising and support work, Emma Heming Willis is the author of the book ‘The Unexpected Journey: Finding Strength, Hope, and Yourself on the Caregiving Path’ , a guide focused on the mental health and well-being of those who care for dependent people.
