Ester Expósito, Mbappé's girlfriend, responds to the prejudices she faces as an actress
She has spoken on Cadena Ser about her new film ‘Enfrentados: Marfil’

Ester Expósito premiered a new film last September 9. After just one week on the Amazon Prime platform, it is already a hit and ranks among the most-watched. A new film that once again puts the spotlight on the Spanish actress.
The woman from Madrid appeared on Cadena Ser’s ‘Hoy por hoy’ program to speak with Aimar Bretos. During the conversation, Expósito looked back on her career and one of the problems in society that she has always spoken out against: prejudice.
Expósito believes that “there comes a point when you have to stop fighting against prejudice and accept that everyone is going to think whatever they want.” “ It’s not your responsibility, nor is it in your hands to control it. You have to let go . For example, I’m still working on how to build my career without thinking about what is expected of me because of how I started,” she confessed to Bretos.
A career that began in theater, but her role as Carla in Netflix’s ‘Élite’ launched her to fame. Since then, her roles and career have continued to grow, leading her to make the leap to international productions. This leap was also reflected in the level of the luxury brands that hire her as their image. Yves Sant Laurent and Dolce&Gabbana have worked with the Spanish actress, aware of her impact on social media.
Ester Expósito: “Reaching the top gives you independence to choose projects”
For the Madrid native, having reached this level of international fame gives her the possibility of being the one who decides her next projects. “Reaching the top gives you more independence and the possibility of choosing . Which is already a privilege and a blessing. Sometimes you have more independence, sometimes less. But if you’re smart, you take advantage of it to use it to gain independence in decision-making and in how you choose your path,” she points out.
