Disney star has dropped her last name, to simply go by Miley. And she has done so for a family reason. One of the first to react to this move by the artist was precisely her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, who responded to it on his social media.
"Family means more than ever now. I always called my little Miley. Simply... Miley. Just like I always called my little son Braison," the country artist began in his text. "I bet you didn't know... I was simply Cyrus before Achy Breaky Heart came out in '92. All my clothes and T-shirts only said: "Cyrus gave it his all" with an image of a POWMIA flag and the phrase: "We won't forget you" , her father added.
In fact, her father reacted naturally to the matter. "Yesterday I told Miley that I thought it was fine for her to use her first name. I mentioned Dolly and Cher. I think about it more and more... Elvis... Prince... and so on. It’s a natural progression for an iconic superstar legend" .
