Harry Styles receives a special Knicks honor, presented by Jalen Brunson

H arry Styles received a very special surprise to close out Halloween in New York City . On Saturday, October 31, during his final night at Madison Square Garden, Jalen Brunson stepped away from the basketball court and onto the stage to share an unexpected moment with the singer.

Wearing a cap that read “Techno Is My Boyfriend,” the New York Knicks star grabbed the microphone and introduced himself to the thousands of fans in attendance: “My name is Jalen Brunson and welcome to Madison Square Garden.” His words sent the crowd into a frenzy, with fans breaking into chants of “MVP,” the same cheer that usually greets him during Knicks games.

But Brunson had a much bigger reason for making an appearance than simply greeting the crowd. The player brought a commemorative banner for Harry, honoring his 30 consecutive sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden .

Brunson's joke that made Harry Styles laugh

And if the special recognition had already made Brunson's appearance a surprise, the Knicks star still had a funny story to share. He revealed that he had attended three of Harry's concerts, while the singer had only been to one of his games . With that playful comparison, Brunson jokingly reminded him that he still owed him another visit to the court.

Harry was quick to respond with his trademark sense of humor. The singer asked the audience to notice that the two were practically the same height, sparking a spontaneous exchange that made the moment even more entertaining.

Between the cheers, jokes and special tribute, Brunson's appearance became one of the most memorable moments of Harryween's final night . It was a Halloween send-off Harry is unlikely to forget, with a Knicks star taking the spotlight away from the court for a change.
