Racy leaks and rumors involving Tom Brady: Part of Alix Earle's master plan to outdo Kim Kardashian

The influencer is putting family, romances and private life at the center of a much bigger fame play

Alix Earle has already conquered the short-form internet. The bigger question now is whether she can make the leap from viral influencer to household-name celebrity, and her new Netflix reality series may be the most important test yet.

Earle Meets World, which premieres September 4, brings the 25-year-old’s family, relationships and personal drama into a format that looks strikingly familiar to anyone who watched Kim Kardashian turn reality television into a global business machine.

Earle has never hidden how badly she wanted attention early in her career. Speaking on Jamie Laing ’s Great Company podcast, she admitted: “I will do anything for a viral video on this app.”

That ambition helped fuel the “Get Ready With Me” videos that made her famous and created what became known as the “Alix Earle effect,” with products often enjoying a sudden surge in interest after she featured them.

Now the scale is changing. PR and reputation expert Olivia Bennett believes Earle is one of the strongest candidates yet to make the kind of crossover Kardashian achieved.

“Is Alix the new Kim Kardashian? I think she’s probably one of the strongest candidates we’ve seen,” Bennett said, as per the US Sun.

Turning family into part of the brand

The most obvious Kardashian comparison may be the decision to bring the wider family into the spotlight. The Netflix series features Earle’s father Thomas “TJ” Earle , her mother Alisa , stepmother Ashley Dupré , sister Ashtin and younger half-siblings.

TJ also helps manage his daughter’s career, earning the family nickname “Dad-enger,” an obvious echo of Kris Jenner ’s famous “momager” role.

Earle told TV Insider that not everyone immediately embraced the idea of filming.

“I think it took a bit for everyone to fully get on board,” she said. “But I think we have had so many other people talk about our family and have that story out there that we wanted to show it and do it for ourselves.

“We were like, ‘You know what? We’re a pretty entertaining crew. There’s always something going on.’”

Relationships and feuds now part of the story

Earle ’s dating history is also likely to keep viewers watching. She has previously dated baseball player Tyler Wade and NFL receiver Braxton Berrios and has more recently been linked with other high-profile athletes.

In the new show, she jokes: “I don’t have a type, it’s personality. Maybe athletes.”

The show also addresses her fallout with podcast host Alex Cooper , with Earle insisting there is more to the story.

“She’s trying to paint it as I’m just like this crazy lunatic who is, like, hating her for no reason,” she says. “There’s a reason.”

Earle has also spoken publicly about an explicit photograph being shared without her consent, calling the experience “an invasion of privacy.”

That willingness to expose more uncomfortable parts of her life could be crucial to making the show work.

Netflix could give Earle new audience

Bennett argues that the real value of Netflix isn't making Earle famous, but broadening who knows her.

“There’s a difference between being incredibly famous online and becoming somebody your mum, your aunt and people who have never opened TikTok would recognize,” she said.

The risk is losing control. TikTok allows Earle to choose every clip. Reality television does not. But if Earle Meets World succeeds, the reward could be significant.

Earle is already moving beyond endorsements, launching skincare brand Reale Actives and investing in other businesses. That's where the Kardashian comparison becomes most meaningful.
