Roses, candles, and a diamond ring: this was the proposal to Sylvester Stallone's daughter

M ichael Sheehan not only proposed to Sophia Stallon e with a spectacular diamond ring. He also achieved something that, according to the actor’s own daughters, was not exactly easy: overcoming the intimidating barrier of entering the Stallone family.

As they recounted on the family reality show, having Sylvester Stallone as a father could be intimidating, but Michael will soon officially become part of one of Hollywood's most famous families.

Sophia Stallone, the 30-year-old producer, announced on her Instagram account this Friday, August 28 her engagement to her boyfriend. In a photo carousel, both look happy while sitting on the ground, surrounded by candles and white roses. Other photos show the two on a balcony, smiling at the camera while she poses with a luxurious diamond ring.

But perhaps the most significant thing was not the images but the phrase Sophia chose to accompany the photographs: “Forever with my best friend” (“Para siempre con mi mejor amigo”).

The news also had special significance because it involved Sophia , the eldest daughter of Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin.

The protagonist of Rocky, an actor recognized worldwide for his participation in the entertainment industry, has built over decades a public image associated with strength, action, and tough characters.
