Sophie Rain fires back at Pete Davidson after he criticizes what she does

It is certainly no secret that top-tier creators on platforms like OnlyFans generate staggering amounts of wealth. Consider Sophie Rain , the 22-year-old creator who raked in over $40 million in her first breakout year back in 2024.

To put that sum into perspective, her annual earnings outpace more than half of the starting NFL quarterbacks this season , and rival the lucrative contracts of elite NBA All-Stars like OG Anunoby or Kevin Durant.

While some critics routinely decry the changing economic landscape of digital entrepreneurship, the reality remains simple: as long as there is consumer demand, new avenues of wealth creation will continue to thrive.

Not everyone is willing to embrace this modern reality, however, notably actor and comedian Pete Davidson , who recently launched into a public rant mocking social media influencers who "do nothing" and pull in $40 million a year. Those pointed remarks quickly made their way to Rain, who delivered a sharp and unfiltered response.

Sophie Rain Fires Back at Pete Davidson's Critique

OnlyFans star Sophie Rain recently challenged Pete Davidson to put his money where his mouth is after the actor went viral for ridiculing creators who make millions while doing "nothing" for their cash. Rain commented with “@me next time” on the Instagram clip of the diss, which came from Davidson’s interview with Variety.

Rain, who pulls in an estimated $45 million annually , did not take the jab lying down. "I’d tell him that if it’s really that easy, he should go do it," Rain stated in an interview with The Post .

Noting that Davidson has previously joked about launching an OnlyFans account himself, she added that anyone who believes individuals make millions by pure accident clearly lacks a fundamental understanding of digital business.

The internet entrepreneur pointed out that Davidson's rant felt deliberately targeted at her and other successful women on the platform, calling it cowardly for the comedian to generalize without naming names directly.

Rain, who is known on the site for limiting her content to suggestive lingerie and bikini-level teasing rather than explicit adult material, defended the rigorous hustle behind her brand. "I don’t think saying women are doing 'nothing' because you don’t understand their jobs is particularly clever. There are definitely better jokes," she remarked.
