Stepmom Era? Sydney Sweeney dotes on boyfriend Scooter Braun’s kids as relationship heats up
A new family outing offered the clearest glimpse yet of how closely the actress has become involved in his life
S ydney Sweeney ’s relationship with Scooter Braun is beginning to look increasingly serious, with the actress now appearing just as comfortable around his children as she does alongside him.
The 28-year-old Euphoria star was photographed in Los Angeles this week during a casual outing with Braun and his three children, Jagger, Levi and Hart.
The group stopped for smoothies before walking together, with Sweeney seen sharing an affectionate moment with one of Braun ’s sons.
It was a small gesture, but one that added another layer to a relationship that has steadily become more public since Sweeney and Braun were first linked in September 2025.
Braun, 45, shares Jagger, 11, Levi, 9, and Hart, 7, with his ex-wife Yael Cohen . The former couple married in 2014 and finalized their divorce in 2022.
Sweeney hasn't publicly described her role in Braun ’s family, and there is no indication she has taken on any formal parental position. Still, the latest outing has inevitably fueled speculation that their romance has moved into a more settled phase.
Sweeney appears increasingly comfortable
The actress kept the day low-key in a white T-shirt, flared jeans and sneakers, while Braun opted for a similarly casual look.
Sweeney appeared relaxed throughout the outing and was seen walking closely with Braun ’s children, reinforcing the impression that she has developed an easy relationship with them.
That family dynamic comes after a summer in which Sweeney and Braun have been seen together away from the usual Hollywood settings.
Earlier in August, the pair spent time in Spokane, Washington, where Sweeney helped communities affected by devastating wildfires.
“Spokane has always been home to me,” Sweeney wrote at the time. “It’s where I grew up, where my family still lives, and where so many of the people and places that shaped me are.
“Thousands of families have lost their homes, their belongings, and places of business, including members of my own family,” she added.
Romance unfolded away from public gaze
Despite regular sightings, Sweeney and Braun have said relatively little about their relationship publicly.
That has left moments such as this week’s outing to offer the clearest clues about how things are progressing.
Braun has largely stepped away from his former role as one of the entertainment industry’s most prominent talent managers, while Sweeney remains one of Hollywood’s busiest young stars.
The actress has also spoken openly about how important family remains to her. Years before her current relationship, she described the financial struggles her parents faced after the 2008 economic crash.
“My dad lost his job, and we lost our home,” she said.
Those experiences make the sight of Sweeney spending relaxed time with Braun ’s children more meaningful than a standard celebrity outing.
What is clear, however, is that Sweeney appears increasingly woven into Braun’s family life, which is a sign their relationship may be entering a much more serious chapter.
