Streamer Clavicular faces several charges over an alleged sexual assault in Massachusetts

American content creator Braden Peters, known online as Clavicular, is facing several criminal charges in Massachusetts related to an alleged incident that took place in Cape Cod in May 2025 . According to court records, the indictment includes one charge of rape , another for drugging a person with the intent of having sexual relations, and a third for providing alcohol to a person under 21 years of age.
Peters has become known in recent years for his live streams and for the content he posts on social media, where he has built up a significant community of followers. His online activity has also placed him at the center of various controversies , although the proceedings now opened in Massachusetts concern specific events that will have to be determined in court.
The charges were filed last September 8, and the 20-year-old "streamer" is scheduled to appear before the court next October 14. The available court documentation does not publicly identify the alleged victim.
It is not the only complaint received by Clavicular: they have already filed a civil lawsuit against him
The investigation aligns with the allegations previously made in a civil lawsuit by influencer Aleksandra Vasilevna Mendoza . In that lawsuit, Mendoza claims she met Peters at a home in Cape Cod and that during the encounter she consumed an excessive amount of alcohol. According to her account, Peters allegedly had sexual relations with her when she was unable to consent and later allegedly did so again while she was asleep . These claims are part of a civil lawsuit and have not been proven in court.
Clavicular's representatives deny the accusations. One of the creator's lawyers noted that these are allegations that remain unproven and that Peters intends to defend himself through the appropriate legal channels. His team has also questioned the progression of the civil lawsuit and maintains that the sexual assault accusations were incorporated into the proceedings at a later stage.
For now, Peters has not been convicted of these acts. The next date scheduled in the proceedings is October 14 , when he is expected to appear before the court .
