Ever since Sydney Sweeney starred in her American Eagle campaign in 2025 and Tate McRae followed suit with Calvin Klein in August 2026 , fans have kept the comparison between the two stars alive, debating which one is sexier and more daring.

Now, Tate seems to have delivered checkmate with the release of her “Housewife” music video, where she embraces her most provocative side and racks up points in the race for the crown .

What outfits did she wear?

The music video opens with McRae lounging on a sunbed in a black-and-white two-piece bikini . Later, she appears in a sheer black dress that reveals the swimsuit underneath before changing into a floral-print corset paired with white micro shorts. The singer also wears a black dress with white polka dots, switching between looks that play with different silhouettes and prints .

The settings complement each outfit change, ranging from a luxurious mansion to a yacht in the Mediterranean, where Tate dances directly in front of the camera. The production is directed by Pierre-Ange Carlotti, with choreography by Sergio Reis, who has worked with Madonna and Charli XCX .

Another standout look is a red set by Ludovic de Saint Sernin, featuring the Cleavage Bikini Top and Lace-Up Bikini Bottom . The cutouts and lacing on both pieces accentuate her figure while reinforcing the music video's daring aesthetic.

In another scene, the singer pushes a vintage baby stroller filled with cash, an unexpected image that contrasts with the video's luxurious settings. The production also features a literary touch: while aboard a boat, McRae is seen reading La Vagabonde, a novel by Colette published in 1910 .
