Taylor Swift just gave this sports icon a massive, multimillion-dollar fortune over the weekend

T aylor Swift 's appearance at Arrowhead Stadium did more than celebrate Travis Kelce ’s latest milestone and her outfit also sent fans rushing toward a sportswear brand with a familiar face behind it. Swift wore a Chiefs tank top while cheering for Kelce during Kansas City ’s overtime win over the Indianapolis Colts , with the ESPN broadcast capturing her celebrating from the stands.

The $39.99 top quickly became a talking point online, and fans moved to buy the same design. The sudden demand was especially notable because the piece belongs to Erin Andrews ’ WEAR sports apparel line. Swift ’s connection to Andrews made the sales surge even more significant, as the Fox Sports reporter and the pop star have been friends for years and the billionaire has previously supported the brand. Users on X.com, formerly Twitter, quickly praised Swift’ s game-day look, with one fan writing, “Taylor Swift looks cute in her chiefs outfit.” Another added, “Taylor Swift is actually killing it with that outfit. I want that top." Whilst a third simply commented, “This outfit…” The reaction came as Swift spent much of the night celebrating Kelce , who delivered another memorable performance during Kansas City ’s latest win. Kelce finished with nine receptions for 101 yards and scored his first touchdown of the 2026 season on a 13-yard reception. His production helped keep the Chiefs in control of a dramatic overtime contest. The Chiefs also announced during the game that Kelce had surpassed NFL Hall of Famer Marshall Faulk for the most receiving yards after the catch in history, adding another landmark to his career. And the team remained unbeaten at 2-0 after edging out the Colts 33-30 in overtime as Patrick Mahomes threw for 382 yards and three touchdowns as the side secured another dramatic victory. Kenneth Walker III rushed for 117 yards and added a crucial 22-yard reception late in overtime, helping Kansas City move into position for the winning field goal kick – which was delivered by Harrison Butker .

Swift announces new single is dropping soon

Swift had plenty to celebrate beyond the Chiefs ’ victory, announcing that her new single, titled Patient Zero , will arrive Friday, September 25 , with fans able to pre-order it through her website. The announcement followed a countdown on TaylorSwift.com that had sparked speculation among fans. A burgundy curtain and glittering letters appeared on the site before the clock expired at 14:00 ET on September 22. “I've been impatiently waiting to tell you,” Swift said via Instagram. “That my brand new single 'Patient Zero' will be out on September 25 (!!!!!!!!!!!!) and it's available to pre-order now on my website for 24 hours.” Once the countdown ended, the website revealed collector’s edition CDs for Patient Zero and fans could choose from standard, acoustic and piano versions, with the physical releases scheduled to ship around October 13 . The release has already prompted questions about whether the song signals a new era or is connected to Swift ’s 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl , which debuted in October 2025. Her website listings for the new CDs use the same The Life of a Showgirl logo , whilst Swift ’s announcement contained exactly 12 exclamation points. Fans have also linked the song to her Opalite music video.
