Scooter Braun reportedly has marriage on his mind when it comes to Sydney Sweeney , with an insider claiming the music executive could propose to the actress within the next six months.
According to the source, Braun sees the Euphoria star as a modern-day Marilyn Monroe and is determined to make their relationship permanent.
While neither Braun nor Sweeney has confirmed the engagement speculation, their increasingly public romance has certainly fueled questions about where the relationship is headed.
“He is trying very hard to marry her,” stated the source. “He is following her and chartering private planes. He’s going to stay focused on her until she marries him.”
Sweeney and Braun were recently spotted together at Rosh Hashanah services at Temple Sholom in Greenwich, Connecticut. An observer claimed the pair sat toward the back of the synagogue, keeping a relatively low profile during the visit.
The appearance came shortly after their romantic European getaway, where photographers captured them kissing aboard a gondola in Venice during the Venice Film Festival.
The Italian city has particular significance for the couple, as it was reportedly where they first met around Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's wedding in June 2025. After their initial encounter, the pair were later linked romantically, although it took several months for reports of their relationship to become widespread.
Braun's latest birthday tribute has only intensified the speculation. On September 12, he celebrated Sweeney's 29th birthday with a video featuring the couple dancing and kissing in front of an Italian castle. His heartfelt message described Sweeney as the person who unexpectedly showed him what "true partnership" could look like.

The couple's relationship appears to have developed rapidly since they were first connected in 2025. They eventually made things Instagram official in April 2026, following Braun's appearance with Sweeney at the Euphoria season three premiere.
Braun later discussed their romance during a podcast appearance, describing the relationship as one of the biggest surprises of his life and calling Sweeney kind, generous, smart, genuine and down to earth.
They've also reportedly moved in together, another indication that their relationship has entered a more serious phase. Braun is said to be involved in Sweeney's professional life as well. Reports claim he helped facilitate a meeting with CAA's Kevin Huvane, which ultimately resulted in the actress signing with him.
That combination of romance and business has raised eyebrows, particularly because sources previously suggested Braun's personality could eventually lead him to become more involved in her career. Still, the marriage claims remain speculation for now.
