November 2026 moon calendar: best days to cut your hair for money and good luck
The November lunar calendar highlights dates for those looking to grow their hair, maintain their current style, or symbolically attract prosperity and good fortune.
Are you thinking about changing your look but still haven't decided when to visit the salon? If you're someone who checks the lunar calendar before getting a haircut, November 2026 has several dates worth considering . The best day depends on what you're hoping to achieve: encourage hair growth, maintain your current style, or give your next haircut a symbolic connection to money and good fortune.
When should you cut your hair in November 2026 according to the moon phases?
To choose the right date, it's important to start with the Moon's phases throughout the month. November will begin with a waning Moon, from November 1 through 8. The New Moon will occur on November 9, followed by the waxing Moon from November 10 through 23. The Full Moon arrives on November 24, and the waning phase returns from November 25 through 30.
If you want your hair to grow, November 10 through 23 is the period to keep in mind . The waxing Moon is traditionally associated with growth and renewal. That's why people who want to grow their hair longer or give their appearance a fresh start often choose this phase.
If you'd rather maintain your haircut for longer, consider November 1 through 8 or November 25 through 30 . These dates fall during the waning Moon, a phase associated with preserving your hairstyle and making small trims without encouraging rapid growth.
Looking for more volume? November 24, when the Full Moon arrives, is the standout date in this tradition. This phase is symbolically linked to abundance and fuller-looking hair.
Meanwhile, November 9 will mark the New Moon. Some traditional lunar calendars recommend avoiding drastic changes during this phase, making it a date you may want to skip if you follow these beliefs.
