The legend of Tupac Shakur: Benzema's idol who was murdered in the rap war because of Mike Tyson
On September 13, 1996, Tupac Shakur was murdered in a shooting, one of the most famous rappers in history (he sold more than 75 million records) and a true symbol for part of the African American youth in the United States.
A few days earlier, Tupac attended a bout of his good friend Mike Tyson against Bruce Seldon, and on the way out he was the victim of a shooting caused by the deadly war that East Coast rappers and West Coast rappers were waging.
The singer didn't want to miss the premiere of a song he had composed especially for the introduction of his friend's fight. Tyson beat Seldon and invited Shakur to a big party to celebrate the bout... a party that Tupac Shakur never attended.

"I feel extremely guilty about his death, because I think that if he hadn't come to my fight they would never have shot him," Tyson confessed to the U.S. press, breaking his silence about the murder of Tupac Shakur.
'In 2010 Tyson explained in the report "One Night in Vegas: Tyson & Tupac" that his strong friendship with Tupac Shakur was built on both of their time in prison: "When I went to prison in 1992 (convicted of rape), he called me every day, sent me a message, or at least tried to."'
In 1995, the one who went to prison was Shakur, and from that moment on their friendship became unbreakable: " We both had a lot of trouble finding people we could trust" .
'Although Tyson acknowledges that he never came to fully understand the charismatic Shakur: "He was like a warrior... His heart was as big as this planet. He had a lot of love and compassion inside him, but you could never see it because of his anger".'
'For me it is very difficult to talk about this. Tupac Shakur was a kid who wanted to be a genius... and he succeeded," pointed out the "Terror of the Garden".'

One of the suspects in the murder of the famous rapper was his friend The Notorious B.I.G., who represented the East Coast, while Tupac was from the West.
Six months after Tupac's death, in March 1997, The Notorious B.I.G. was shot dead in Los Angeles.
