Lady Gaga and boyfriend Michael Polansky show off their first child to the world
The couple have been seen with their newborn for the first time after quietly welcoming their first baby together.

Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky have offered the first public glimpse of their new life as parents after being spotted walking with their newborn in Northern California.
The singer, 40, carried the baby close to her chest while Polansky , 42, walked alongside her, marking the first time the couple have been seen publicly with their child.
Gaga and Polansky had not previously announced the birth. The baby's name, sex and date of birth remain private, while representatives for the couple did not respond to requests for comment.
The sighting comes after months away from the spotlight for Gaga , who finished her Mayhem Ball tour in April and has kept a much lower public profile since then.
Lady Gaga has long spoken about wanting children
Although Gaga chose to keep the pregnancy and birth private, she has been open in the past about wanting to become a mother.
"I'm excited to be a mom. I used to have a lot of apprehension about it," she said in March 2025.
She also explained how she wanted any future children to have the freedom to build their own lives rather than feel defined by her fame.
"The thing that's the most important to me is to not force my children to live a life that they are not choosing. So the more that we can give them space to discover who they are on their own, that's the thing that I believe in the most."
Gaga and Polansky begin a new chapter
The singer has also spoken honestly about how motherhood might change a life that has revolved around her career for years.
"I'm also kind of at war with myself sometimes as I get ready to, hopefully, become a mom soon," she said. "Like, today is wonderful, but the whole day has revolved around me. There's an incredible amount of narcissism in this."
The couple, who began dating in 2019, have increasingly kept their private life out of public view.
A source close to Gaga recently said: "She hasn't really gotten to have a private life since she was like 22 ... she's been laying low since the tour ended."
The source added: "They have an amazing biodome of love. Seems like a really safe place for her."
Now, after years of talking openly about wanting a family, Gaga has finally stepped into the role she once described as the one she wanted most.
