M eghan Markle is reportedly considering a private getaway with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet as speculation continues to surround her marriage to Prince Harry as the reported plan comes weeks after the Duchess of Sussex returned to the United Kingdom. Placing renewed attention on the couple’s family life and ongoing challenges, the alleged retreat would give Meghan an opportunity to spend time away from public attention with the couple’s two children.

However, claims about a potential escape remain unverified, and there has been no public confirmation that she intends to leave her usual surroundings or that the marriage is approaching a breaking point. According to a report citing an unnamed source, Meghan has considered staying at a discreet hotel with the children, with legal advice and their welfare said to be central to the discussions. "Meghan’s No. 1 priority is protecting her kids. She's even called lawyers about it,” a source told RadarOnline.com. “But it's also very telling that she would plan to run off to a hotel without Harry. “Especially right after he found himself at the center of a cheating scandal. It appears their marriage is at the breaking point. Who knows how much that figured into Meghan’s decision to leave?" The report also raised questions about the couple’s relationship, although speculation about an alleged affair involving Harry has not been established as fact. Security has remained a sensitive issue for the Sussexes , who have repeatedly raised concerns about the arrangements required for visits to Britain. The family’s protection has been a point of dispute, while reports have also claimed Archie and Lilibet were withdrawn from school after only two days because of disruption linked to a security convoy. Those claims have not been independently confirmed here.

King Charles pays for disgraced Andrew’s home repairs

King Charles has reportedly made $1.98 million available from his private income to help cover a bill linked to Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor ’s former residence, which comes as the ex-prince faces the financial consequences of leaving the property. The ex- Duke of York was said to have faced a dilapidations bill of approximately $2.41 million but an early termination of his lease reportedly reduced the amount by $405,000, while the wider renovation of the property had cost around $10.06 million. Andrew had occupied the residence under an arrangement involving nominal rent and has since lost his prince title and left the Windsor property, moving to the Sandringham estate . His departure followed years of controversy over his association with Jeffrey Epstein , which Andrew has said he regrets and he has denied wrongdoing connected to the pedophile. He was also arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office, but police activity connected to the investigation has faced claims that warrants used to search his properties were unlawfully issued and should be quashed. The investigation remains ongoing.
