Kylie Kelce apologises after controversial remark about Kate Middleton
Kylie Kelce wants to make sure her royal invitation gets the title right

Kylie Kelce clearly wants the Princess of Wales to make an appearance on Not Gonna Lie , so much so that she offered an apology for how she addressed Kate Middleton in her first official invitation to join the podcast and discuss the things they have in common.
After Kylie referred to her as Princess Kate, several people pointed out that Kate Middleton is not formally addressed that way and that she should instead be referred to as Princess Catherine or the Princess of Wales . Some also suggested that Kate herself may not be too bothered by the mistake, considering how relaxed the royal family has been with titles in the past. Taylor Swift, her sister-in-law, once referred to Prince William as “mate” in a post after performing in London during her Eras Tour.
Kelce wants to get the invitation right
Still, Kelce wants the Princess of Wales on her podcast badly enough that she decided to apologise for the mistake . She explained that she was unaware that referring to Princess Catherine as Princess Kate could be considered offensive, but now understands the proper way to address her and wants to be respectful of how people wish to be referred to.
Kelce then followed the apology with a new invitation, this time using the proper title. She addressed Princess Catherine and the Princess of Wales directly, saying she would correct the mistake immediately and make sure she gets it right going forward.
The Not Gonna Lie host also made it clear why she would love to have Kate on the podcast. She pointed to the many things they could discuss, including motherhood, their children, field hockey and Kate’s experience battling cancer.
With so much potential common ground between them, Kelce clearly sees the conversation as one that could be both interesting and meaningful . Now, the question is whether the Princess of Wales will accept the invitation and make the interaction happen.
