Since Prince Harry married Meghan Markle back in 2018, it has seemingly been nothing but personal bombshells in their lives. Their decision to give up their royal duties and move to the United States in 2020 sparked outrage in the United Kingdom. That has led to bitterness on the part of many, particularly towards Markle.

Despite wanting to move past that chapter of their lives, Harry and Meghan made the stunning decision to return to England in August of this year . The driving factor behind their decision was their children, whom they wanted to be given a formal British education. Moving back would also allow Harry to be closer and reunite with his family, after so much turmoil over the past few years.

This was all, surely, a contentious discussion within their immediate family. While Markle never outright said she preferred to stay in the United States, reports have emerged that strengthen that notion . And it’s not all that surprising given that she was a big reason they left the UK initially in the first place.

Meghan Markle might "quit Britain forever" as she begins to feel very homesick

According to Aaron Tinney of RadarOnline , sources told him that Markle is genuinely having a rough go of it in England . So much so that “ Harry is now fearing she is set to quit Britain forever ”.

Meghan went into this believing that returning to Britain might offer her family a chance to start a different chapter, but the reality has apparently been much harder than she anticipated. California represents everything she associates with feeling settled, independent, and comfortable. Britain, by comparison, seems to bring back memories of a period she would rather leave behind… What appears to have upset Meghan most is the feeling that she's being judged before she's even had an opportunity to establish herself in the community.

It’s true that Markle isn’t very well-liked across the pond. In California, she simply feels more at home. But if Harry wants to stay in the UK, this could pose a serious threat to their marriage going forward.
