Man survives terrifying lightning strike just steps away from his car and the entire moment was caught on camera

A Staten Island man survived a terrifying lightning strike just steps away from his car, and the entire moment was caught on camera.

Thomas Fahmy was walking to a dentist appointment when the bolt struck him, sending him to the ground.

Fahmy described feeling tingling, numbness, pain and an intense burning sensation throughout his body.

But incredibly, medical examinations found no burns.

Days later, Fahmy went to church with one thing on his mind.

He said he wanted to thank God for giving him another chance after surviving a moment that could have ended very differently.
