Powerball Winning Numbers: Results for Monday September 21 drawing for the $313 Million jackpot
One New York ticket won $1 million, but the grand prize remains up for grabs Monday night
Powerball players are back for another shot at a nine-figure jackpot after Saturday’s drawing ended without anyone matching all six numbers.
The top prize for Monday, September 21, has climbed to an estimated $313 million, with a cash option of $133.6 million before taxes.
The winning numbers will be drawn at approximately 10:59 p.m. ET, and the jackpot will remain in play unless one ticket matches all five white balls plus the red Powerball .
Saturday’s numbers were 18, 30, 41, 45 and 68, with Powerball 10. The Power Play multiplier was 2x.
Nobody matched the full combination, but one ticket sold in New York came close enough to claim a major prize.
New York player wins $1 million
The New York ticket matched all five white balls but missed the Powerball , earning a $1 million Match 5 prize. There were no winners in the $2 million Match 5 plus Power Play category.
That result pushed the jackpot higher and gave Monday’s drawing an even bigger spotlight.
Powerball jackpots continue to grow whenever no ticket matches all six numbers. The process can produce rapid increases once the prize reaches nine figures, especially as more people buy tickets.
Monday’s advertised jackpot can be taken as an annuity spread over time or as the lower lump-sum cash option.
What time is the September 21 Powerball drawing?
The next drawing is scheduled for 10:59 p.m. ET on Monday, September 21. Powerball drawings take place three times each week — Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
Players choose five white-ball numbers from 1 to 69 and one red Powerball from 1 to 26. A standard ticket costs $2, while Power Play can be added for an extra $1 to increase most non-jackpot prizes.
Players who don't want to select their own numbers can use Quick Pick, which randomly generates a combination.
Monday’s jackpot still trails Powerball’s biggest prizes
A $313 million jackpot would still sit well below the largest payouts in Powerball history.
The record remains the $2.04 billion jackpot won in California in November 2022. Other massive prizes have also topped $1 billion, including several jackpots over the last few years.
Even so, Monday’s prize is substantial enough to draw plenty of attention.
The key number to watch is six: five white balls and one Powerball . If no ticket matches all six again, the jackpot will roll over once more ahead of Wednesday’s drawing.
