The Powerball jackpot has climbed past the $200 million mark after another drawing ended without a grand-prize winner, leaving players with a fresh shot at a major payout on Wednesday, September 9.
The estimated jackpot now stands at $207 million , with a cash option of $89.3 million for a winner who chooses the lump-sum payment instead of the annuity.
Wednesday’s drawing is scheduled for 10:59 p.m. ET . The winning numbers haven't yet been drawn and will be confirmed after the official results are released.

Why the Powerball jackpot has grown to $207 million
The prize increased after Monday’s drawing failed to produce a jackpot winner.
The winning numbers for September 7 were 15, 19, 28, 39 and 56, with a Powerball of 3. The Power Play multiplier was 3x.
Nobody matched all six numbers to claim the jackpot. There were also no tickets matching all five white balls for the $1 million Match 5 prize, while no player secured the $2 million Match 5 plus Power Play payout.
That allowed the jackpot to roll over to Wednesday. Powerball drawings are held three times each week, on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday nights.
A standard ticket costs $2. Players select five numbers from 1 to 69 before choosing a separate Powerball number from 1 to 26.
The jackpot requires matching all five white balls and the red Powerball , but smaller prizes are available for several other combinations. Matching only the Powerball is enough to win $4.
What would a $207 million Powerball winner actually receive?
The advertised Powerball jackpot reflects the estimated value of the annuity option.
A winner selecting the annuity would receive an initial payment followed by 29 annual payments that increase over time.
Someone choosing the cash option would instead receive approximately $89.3 million before taxes.
Players can add Power Play for an additional $1, allowing most non-jackpot prizes to be multiplied depending on the number selected during the drawing.
Double Play is also available in participating jurisdictions for another $1 and provides a separate chance to win a top prize of $10 million.
The latest jackpot run comes less than a month after one of the biggest Powerball prizes of 2026 was claimed.
An Illinois ticket won a $1.04 billion jackpot on August 12, resetting the game before the current prize began building again.
Wednesday night will decide whether the $207 million jackpot finds a winner or continues growing toward Saturday’s drawing.
