"Trump spends more time on Twitter than with Melania": The President's wife says their family life is "suffering"
Inside Melania Trump’s candid comments about marriage and the White House

Melania Trump has offered a rare glimpse into her family life, acknowledging that the demands of life in the White House have left her with less time to spend with President Donald Trump and their son, Barron .
During a Fox Business interview on Wednesday, the first lady was asked about balancing work, family responsibilities and time with her 20-year-old son.
She explained that scheduling has become increasingly important because everyone in the family has demanding routines.
Melania said Trump can remain in the Oval Office until late in the evening, making traditional family dinners difficult. She also has her own projects and responsibilities, meaning the family can't always coordinate their schedules.
“It’s less and less the family time. It’s suffering because of it,” she said, while adding that she considers the situation acceptable because they’re all focused on their work. She also noted that Barron is now a young man and may appreciate having more independence.
The comments come as Melania has faced renewed public attention over her relationship with the president and the amount of time the couple spends together.
Online reactions were mixed, with some users expressing sympathy while others mocked the idea that Trump’s demanding schedule leaves little room for family life.
Melania says she’s honest with Trump
Later Wednesday, Melania appeared on Fox & Friends and discussed her husband’s performance during his second presidential term. Asked about Trump’s recent United Nations speech, she said she praised his delivery and considered the address a strong one.
She also revealed that she doesn’t simply tell her husband what he wants to hear.
“I tell him the truth,” Melania said, explaining that Trump sometimes doesn’t want to hear her opinions, but she continues to be candid with him.
When asked how she thinks Trump is handling his second term compared with his first, Melania described him as focused and said he has a great deal on his plate.
"He's very focused. He has a lot on his plate. It's very different what's going on around the world now. But I think he's doing the best that he can,” she said.
Her remarks provide a glimpse into how the first lady describes the pressures affecting the Trump family.
