Millions of households rely on Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits every month, and Florida follows a staggered schedule rather than issuing every payment on the same day.

For September 2026, benefits will once again be loaded onto recipients' EBT cards throughout the first 28 days of the month.

The exact payment date is determined using the eighth and ninth digits of a recipient's Florida case number .

Florida uses the ninth digit followed by the eighth digit of the case number to create a two-digit number that determines when benefits are deposited.

Recipients with numbers from 00 to 03 are scheduled for September 1, followed by 04 to 06 on September 2, 07 to 10 on September 3 and 11 to 13 on September 4.

Numbers 14 to 17 are due September 5, 18 to 20 on September 6, 21 to 24 on September 7, 25 to 27 on September 8 and 28 to 31 on September 9.

Payments continue with 32 to 34 on September 10, 35 to 38 on September 11, 39 to 41 on September 12, 42 to 45 on September 13 and 46 to 48 on September 14.

Those with numbers 49 to 53 are scheduled for September 15, 54 to 57 on September 16, 58 to 60 on September 17, 61 to 64 on September 18 and 65 to 67 on September 19.

The remaining deposits are scheduled for 68 to 71 on September 20, 72 to 74 on September 21, 75 to 78 on September 22, 79 to 81 on September 23, 82 to 85 on September 24, 86 to 88 on September 25, 89 to 92 on September 26, 93 to 95 on September 27 and 96 to 99 on September 28.

How much can Florida SNAP recipients receive?

Maximum monthly benefits through September 2026 depend on household size.

A one-person household can receive up to $298, while the maximum rises to $546 for two people, $785 for three and $994 for four.

The maximum reaches $1,183 for five people, $1,421 for six, $1,571 for seven and $1,789 for eight, with an additional $218 available for each extra household member.

Florida has also introduced new restrictions on what SNAP benefits can buy. Since April 2026, they can't be used for soda, energy drinks, candy, or ultra-processed prepared desserts.

Recipients can check their case information and payment status through Florida's MyACCESS system.
