When is the Alaska Permanent Fund payment made in November 2026 and who is getting it this month?
Alaska Permanent Fund payment date is Thursday, November 19

Alaska residents waiting for their Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD) have another payment date to look forward to in November as the next distribution is scheduled for November 19, with eligible applicants whose claims have reached the required processing status set to receive their money.
The payment applies to 2026 and prior-year dividend applications that are listed as “Eligible-Not Paid” on November 11 and applicants who meet that status requirement are included in the November 19 distribution.
Although the payment is not being sent automatically to every resident, the Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend is an annual payment that gives qualifying residents a share of the financial benefits generated by the state's natural resources.
Residents must also have satisfied the eligibility conditions applicable to the dividend year for which they applied otherwise they may not receive the payment as applicants generally needed to maintain Alaska residency throughout 2025.
Residents must also intend to remain in the state indefinitely and meet the physical-presence requirements and those rules include spending at least 72 consecutive hours physically in Alaska during 2024 or 2025.
Applicants who were outside the state for more than 180 days during 2025 must also demonstrate that their absence qualified under an approved legal category.
Who is receiving the November 2026 payment?
Unlike many government assistance programmes, the Alaskan PFD is not determined by an applicant's income, employment status or financial circumstances and the November distribution is intended for people with a current or previous-year application marked “Eligible-Not Paid” on November 11.
Applicants who have not yet reached the required stage of approval may not be included in this particular payment round but there is no cause for concern just yet as November 19 is one of two remaining distribution dates listed for 2026 and previous-year applications.
The schedule also included an October payment and another distribution in December for applicants who reach the required status by the relevant cutoff. Applications marked “Eligible-Not Paid” were paid on October 12 whilst the next dates due up are on November 19 and December 17.
The dates mean that an applicant's processing status on the specified cutoff day determines which distribution they may enter and someone whose application is not marked “Eligible-Not Paid” by November 11 should not assume they will receive money on November 19.
The investment fund itself was established in 1976 to preserve part of Alaska 's oil wealth for future generations, while the dividend programme began in 1980 and unlike many government assistance schemes, the PFD is not determined by an applicant's income, employment status or financial circumstances.
