The 34-year-old Democratic representative is dating 24-year-old Jack Cocchiarella
A romantic relationship has been causing a stir in the world of American politics in recent days. TMZ has reported that progressive congresswoman Yassamin Ansari (Democrat from Arizona) is in a romantic relationship with left-wing YouTuber Jack Cocchiarella, who is ten years younger than her.
'Sources with direct knowledge have told TMZ that the two have been dating for the past few months and that the relationship is going very well. They met when Cocchiarella interviewed Ansari in the spring of 2025... they began hanging out as friends a few months later and, eventually, the relationship turned romantic," TMZ reported.'
I’m not going to comment on my personal life
After the news broke, the 34-year-old Iranian-born politician declined to confirm or deny whether she is in a relationship with the 24-year-old YouTuber.
“No comment on my personal life, nor is it anyone’s business. Right now, ICE is terrorizing communities all across the country without being held accountable to anyone, and Trump’s reckless war in Iran continues unabated,” she told TMZ.
“I’m focused on helping the House of Representatives change majority so that we can pass important laws; that’s what we should all be focused on,” she added.
According to TMZ, Jack Cocchiarella also did not want to comment on his personal life and his relationship with Ansari.
