Man dies after entering tiger enclosure at Yorkshire Wildlife Park

A man has died after entering a tiger enclosure at Yorkshire Wildlife Park near Doncaster, England, on Saturday afternoon.
Emergency services were called shortly after 1:30 p.m., with two ambulances, an air ambulance and a doctor sent to the scene. Despite their efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the park.
Witnesses reported hearing what sounded like gunshots, but park staff reportedly used acoustic devices to move the tiger away. The animal was not harmed and remained securely inside its enclosure. The park was evacuated and closed while authorities investigate how and why the man entered the restricted area.
