Aaron Judge "mourns" the Yankees elimination from the outside: "It hurts"
He couldn't play due to injury and watched as the Rays took the victory

The New York Yankees ended their season after being eliminated by the Tampa Bay Rays in the American League Division Series. They suffered a painful 4-3 loss after one of their fans prematurely intercepted a ball that was decisive for the final outcome of the game.
A true drama that superstar Aaron Judge had to settle for watching from the bench due to his physical problems. After the defeat, the Yankees captain shared his impressions with the media, and he did so without making excuses for the failure.
“When you’re not the last team standing, and you lose like that, three games in a row... It’s really tough and difficult. You have to give credit to the Rays,” he said honestly.
“There's no doubt it hurts. You want to be out there. All the rehabilitation, all the work, arriving early, staying late when you're injured so you can get back out there as soon as possible. It definitely hurts not to have the opportunity to be out there and compete,” he acknowledged.
“Whether he was on the roster or not, the guys we had in this locker room were out there fighting. I had complete confidence in them,” he said.
