"New York Yankees fans are fed up. The team's early elimination in the MLB Playoffs at the hands of the Rays has sparked a wave of criticism and disappointment that has been reflected in the results of a large-scale poll conducted by The New York Post.

Aaron Boone comes off very badly, with 85% of the fans calling for the coach’s head after another season without winning the title. “I’ve been calling for Aaron Boone to be fired for years, and not for any specific baseball-related reason. Simply because he hasn’t won with the talent that team has. George Steinbrenner would have fired him a long time ago,” was the comment cited by the New York outlet to reflect the fans’ discontent.

Bria Brian Cashman , the general manager, is another one who comes off badly in the poll, although he has more support among the fans than the coach, with 73% also calling for his head.

Several players are the main ones singled out in this Yankees crisis. According to the results, Jazz Chisholm Jr (91% of votes against his staying), Trent Grisham (88%), and Giancarlo Stanton (86%) should leave the team.

“Stanton and Chisholm have to go. The Yankees urgently need a catcher,” was the highlighted comment in the New York outlet’s article. Lastly, Anthony Volpe is spared from the backlash, and only 21% of voters would do without him next season. Star Aaron Judge was not included in the poll.
