Nader has never hidden her connection to Louisiana.

She was born and raised in Baton Rouge and attended Tulane University before launching a modeling career that eventually took her onto the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.

Her return for LSU's opener therefore wasn't simply another celebrity appearance.

Nader leaned into the Tigers ’ atmosphere and shared her excitement around the program as Baton Rouge prepared for a national spotlight game.

The attention surrounding her arrival was particularly notable given the other personalities connected to LSU.

Olivia Dunne has become arguably the most recognizable former LSU athlete in recent years after turning her gymnastics career and enormous social media following into a national profile.

LSU opener brings major spotlight to Baton Rouge

Nader's presence gave the weekend another celebrity element as ESPN brought College GameDay to Baton Rouge.

The matchup itself already carried significant weight, with LSU opening against Clemson in a battle between two major programs.

That meant the Tigers didn't need much help generating attention.

But Nader still managed to become part of the story before kickoff, using her hometown connection and growing celebrity profile to stand out in an environment packed with familiar faces.

Dunne has long been one of LSU's most visible supporters, while the Tigers themselves remain one of the biggest brands in college sports.
