Deion Sanders furious after Colorado players laugh following 41-7 Northwestern loss

Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders has never been shy about demanding a certain standard from his Colorado program. After Saturday’s 41-7 loss at Northwestern, that standard extended beyond what happened between the lines. Sanders expressed his displeasure after seeing some Colorado players laughing following the Buffaloes’ most lopsided defeat of the season. The reaction came after a game in which Colorado repeatedly gave Northwestern opportunities and struggled to turn its offensive possessions into points. The Buffaloes moved the ball reasonably well, finishing with 348 total yards, but seven drives ended without points. Four turnovers and three failed fourth-down attempts proved costly as Colorado dropped to 2-1.
