Shilo Sanders flees a restaurant after a fan taunted him with Coach Prime: “He’s tripping”

Shilo Sanders abandoned a chicken-wing order in West Palm Beach after a man confronted him about his father, Deion Sanders , turning a casual food review into an uncomfortable encounter captured on camera. The former Colorado Buffaloes safety was visiting Hook Fish & Chicken with his cameraman, Stud , after enjoying a meal there days earlier as the pair had returned to film a review when a man who said he was from the neighborhood approached them.

He uploaded the 16-minute video, titled “ Shilo Gets Pressed in the Hood Doing a Food Review - Hook Fish & Chicken, ” to YouTube on November 1, and the footage shows the exchange unfolding outside the restaurant before Sanders decides to leave. The man criticized the family, accusing them of doing too little for West Palm Beach , and brought up Deion , known as Coach Prime but the discussion escalated, and Shilo moved away as the man appeared to reach inside his vehicle. What the man was reaching for was unclear, according to the report but Sanders did not wait to find out, getting into his car and driving away before his food was ready as from behind the wheel, he tried to understand why the stranger was angry with his father. “I don't understand what he got against Deion Sanders, but he tripping,” Shilo said, describing the situation to Stud as he also explained that he feared someone might try to hurt him, adding staying could force him to defend himself and then deal with the paperwork that would follow. So he chose to remove himself from the confrontation – although Sanders did not abandon the meal altogether. He asked Stud to call when the order was ready, then circled back and waited in his vehicle. Stud eventually brought the food out, allowing the pair to continue their review away from the confrontation and once they were back together, he asked his cameraman about the area. Stud , who grew up in West Palm Beach , acknowledged that the neighborhood could be rough, while still backing the restaurant's food and calling it the best chicken around.

Sanders turns to food reviews after being axed by Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Sanders ' first stop was The Pearl , where he tried chicken and waffles as he has been documenting Florida restaurants since the spring of 2025, when he began a food tour after signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent. His NFL opportunity was short-lived as the NFC South waived Sanders during its roster cuts in August 2025, after he appeared in three preseason games and recorded four solo tackles whilst competing for a backup safety or special-teams role. His final preseason appearance came against the Buffalo Bills on August 23 and featured an altercation with tight end Zach Davidson as Shilo was ejected after throwing a punch in what proved to be the worst decision of his career. The Buccaneers released him the following day as they finalized their 53-man roster as coach Todd Bowles criticized the incident, and the team ultimately decided not to retain the undrafted safety.
