L SU head coach Lane Kiffin entered his highly anticipated debut with the Tigers carrying criticism, doubts and even some early backlash ahead of the matchup against Clemson . The coach himself revealed the tension he experienced during his appearance on ESPN College GameDay alongside Pat McAfee, but the response in Baton Rouge was completely different: a welcome filled with celebrities, excitement and anticipation.

For his first walk to the stadium as LSU’s head coach, Kiffin arrived alongside a group of high-profile personalities that included Livvy Dunne , Theo Von and Brooks Nader, an image that quickly became one of the most memorable moments from the opening week of college football.

Kiffin’s debut at the helm of LSU became one of the biggest storylines of the start of the season, especially following his controversial departure from Ole Miss , an SEC rival. However, Tigers fans made it clear they are ready to embrace a new era under one of the most talked-about coaches in the sport.

Celebrities join Lane Kiffin’s LSU arrival

Among the celebrities supporting LSU’s new head coach was Brooks Nader, the 29-year-old model and influencer who publicly showed her support for Kiffin during his arrival at the stadium. A Baton Rouge native, Nader has a strong connection to the local community and quickly became one of the most visible figures during the coach’s welcome.

Also in attendance was comedian Theo Von , a well-known Tigers fan and a native of Covington, Louisiana , who did not want to miss the beginning of a new chapter for the program.

Another figure who drew plenty of attention was Livvy Dunne, 23. Although she was born in New Jersey, Dunne has a strong connection to LSU after being part of the university’s gymnastics team before becoming a successful social media personality and model.

But they were not the only special guests for Kiffin’s debut.

Country music star Lainey Wilson also appeared during the pregame coverage wearing LSU gear during the CFB broadcast. The singer even picked the Louisiana Tigers to defeat the other team with the same nickname before kickoff.

Kiffin’s debut faces an unexpected delay

Despite the spectacular introduction and the massive expectations surrounding his first game, Kiffin faced an early obstacle before officially beginning his new journey in Baton Rouge.

The matchup between LSU and Clemson was delayed due to lightning in the area, temporarily putting the highly anticipated debut on hold.

The delay did little to change the atmosphere surrounding the program. Before kickoff, it was already clear that Lane Kiffin’s arrival at LSU will be one of the biggest stories in college football — a combination of pressure, spectacle and enormous expectations at one of the sport’s most historic programs.
