Hailee Steinfeld tries to match Taylor Swift’s NFL energy but falls short
ESPN cameras finally caught Hailee Steinfeld’s true Bills fandom during Josh Allen’s late-game magic.

The Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Rams delivered a high-stakes showdown on Monday Night Football in Week 5 of the NFL season. It was a clash between two Super Bowl contenders and the league’s two most recent MVPs, Matthew Stafford and Josh Allen . But there was also drama in the stands, as Hailee Steinfeld appeared repeatedly on the broadcast.
The moment: Steinfeld loses it in the suite
While Allen and Stafford traded blows in a tight finish, ESPN cameras caught Steinfeld right after Buffalo’s final drive. Allen had just scrambled for a 21-yard gain on third-and-17, and the actress reacted like any true fan — jumping, pointing, clapping, and celebrating.
She could be heard yelling: “Let’s go, Josh! Let’s go, Josh! Come on already!”
It was likely the first time she had been seen this animated at a Bills game. In overtime, when the cameras found her again, she even appeared to try to dodge them.
Visual proof that she’s a Bills fan
The contrast with Taylor Swift is clear. The singer routinely appears in the Chiefs’ suite for most games, sometimes drawing irritation from fans. Steinfeld, by comparison, had remained almost invisible despite being a well-known actress with nearly two decades in the industry. She and Allen welcomed their first child earlier this year.
Until now, the only public clue about her NFL allegiance was a post from a decade ago celebrating the Denver Broncos’ Super Bowl win. With her reaction to Allen’s scramble, it became clear that — at least for now — her heart is with Buffalo.
