Josh Allen off injury report: Buffalo Bills QB cleared for critical Patriots showdown
The Bills can breathe easy after the latest update on their quarterback.

After a hard-fought victory over the Los Angeles Chargers , the focus in Buffalo quickly shifted from the result to Josh Allen's health . The quarterback took a late hit to his knee in the closing minutes and left the field with a slight limp, raising concerns among fans. However, head coach Joe Brady downplayed the incident and insisted there is no reason to worry about his franchise quarterback.
Josh Allen receives good news ahead of the next game
Any concerns were put to rest when the NFL released its official weekly injury report. According to Ian Rapoport , Allen was not listed on the Buffalo Bills' report, meaning he will enter this weekend's matchup with no injury designation.
Although he escaped without an injury, Allen admitted he was far from satisfied with his performance. The Bills improved to 3-0 after defeating the Chargers 24-16 at New Highmark Stadium , but the offense struggled throughout the game, committing five turnovers.
The quarterback completed 16 of 26 passes for 204 yards, threw no touchdown passes , was intercepted twice, and was sacked four times. Even so, he continued to make an impact on the ground, rushing for 22 yards on eight carries and scoring two rushing touchdowns.
Those numbers were well below the standard Allen has set for himself, and he made that clear after the game. A video shared by Ryan Talbot of Buffalo Bills News captured the quarterback showing visible frustration with his performance. The clip quickly went viral, sparking all kinds of reactions, jokes, and comments from fans across social media.
