Brian Burns is clear about the Cowboys' weak point: "It's an opportunity to take advantage of it"

Star showdown in this Sunday's NFL slate

John Harbaugh's New York Giants know how to hurt the Dallas Cowboys in their Sunday Night Football matchup in Week 1 of the NFL season.

At least that's what Brian Burns claims, who exposed a weakness in Brian Schottenheimer's team ahead of the game. The Giants defender believes the Cowboys are weak at right tackle with Broderick Jones and Terence Steele.

“I mean, the opportunity is within the game. They’re both professionals. Without disrespecting anyone’s profession or anything like that, the fact that they’re so concerned in that aspect does alert us, I suppose, knowing that they’re having difficulties. … So we can definitely see it as an opportunity to take advantage of it,” he told the New York Daily News.

Harbaugh doesn't want to "screw it up"

For his part, the Giants' coach expressed his feelings before his debut with his new team. “In my first game in Baltimore, the first thing I thought was: ‘Hey, don’t screw it up.’ And that could be my first thought in this game too: trying not to mess it up,” he confessed.

"Probably what everyone thinks. You want to have more positives than negatives. But besides that, it will be a great moment to enjoy," he explained. Regarding the tributes for the 9/11 anniversary, he was also clear: "I don't think it's going to be a problem, I don't think I'm going to lose control and start crying on the sideline or anything like that. I think it's going to be meaningful," he stated.
