Jerry Jones accused of making up story about Packers fan: “She turns around, pulls it all down and just plants it...”

The Dallas billionaire claims angry supporter exposed herself against his car window

Jerry Jones has never been reluctant to entertain an audience with stories from his decades running the Dallas Cowboys , but his latest recollection has created an unexpected controversy ahead of Sunday's meeting with the Green Bay Packers .

The 84-year-old billionaire claimed that a furious Packers supporter once approached his family's vehicle following a Cowboys victory and pressed her exposed backside against the window.

Speaking on Dallas radio station 105.3 The Fan, Jones described the encounter as one of his most unforgettable NFL experiences, particularly because several of his young grandchildren were inside the vehicle.

However, questions emerged almost immediately about the circumstances surrounding the alleged incident, with the Cowboys ' historical results appearing inconsistent with parts of Jones ' account.

Jones claimed the incident happened approximately 25 years ago following a Dallas victory on an exceptionally cold day in Green Bay.

"All of my grandchildren were very small, four or five years old, and I had a car full of them," Jones recalled during his appearance on Shan & RJ.

According to the Cowboys owner, an angry woman approached the vehicle while his family was leaving the stadium and unexpectedly exposed herself.

"She turns around and pulls it all down and just plants it right up against the window. And everybody inside was in awe and couldn't believe it," Jones said.

He maintained that the freezing conditions caused the woman's skin to stick briefly to the glass, leaving behind an unmistakable impression.

"When she pulled away, it was just a big print. …We can still see it today," he added.

Stephen Jones backs father's account

Jones' son, Stephen Jones , subsequently supported the story during another appearance on the same Dallas radio station.

"Oh yes, I remember it. I was in there," Stephen said. "Unfortunately, the one closest to the scene of the crime was my mother."

Nevertheless, the family's recollections have attracted scrutiny because Dallas has recorded only three road victories against Green Bay since Jones purchased the Cowboys in 1989.

Those wins occurred in 1991, 2008 and 2016, creating difficulties with Jones ' suggestion that the incident happened approximately 25 years ago.

The 2008 and 2016 meetings took place in relatively mild conditions, while the colder 1991 contest was held at Milwaukee County Stadium rather than Lambeau Field.

That earlier victory also occurred 35 years ago, making it difficult to reconcile with the timing Jones described.

Cowboys prepare for Packers showdown

The unusual story emerged during a difficult period for Dallas, which enters Sunday's trip to Green Bay with a disappointing 2-3 record.

The Cowboys suffered a 24-16 defeat against the previously winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 5, increasing pressure on the franchise to improve its performances.

Green Bay enters the matchup at 3-2, offering Dallas another challenging assignment as it attempts to recover from its inconsistent opening weeks.

Jones has spent nearly four decades at the center of the Cowboys' biggest storylines, but this particular anecdote has generated attention for reasons unrelated to football.

Whether the event occurred at a different stadium or Jones confused elements of separate memories remains unclear, leaving the extraordinary story without a definitive explanation.
