Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones announced a $10 million donation to the Clinton Foundation , bringing his ties to Arkansas back into the spotlight.

Long before becoming one of the NFL’s most recognizable figures, Jones grew up in North Little Rock , where his parents owned a grocery store. It was also there that he began developing his connection to football, a passion that would eventually lead him to the helm of one of the league’s most iconic teams.

What will Jerry Jones’ $10 million donation support?

The funds will go toward modernizing the Clinton Presidential Center and supporting the Clinton School of Public Service , two institutions in Little Rock with distinct missions.

The center houses the library and archives of Bill Clinton’s presidency , along with spaces dedicated to preserving his historical legacy. The school, affiliated with the University of Arkansas, focuses on preparing students interested in public service and developing solutions to meet the needs of their communities.
