Jerry Jones goes out of character with effusive praise for Dak Prescott as Cowboys Super Bowl hopes return
Jones is fully invested in his franchise quarterback as Dallas rebounds from Week 1.

Perhaps no team in the NFL had a more important rebound than the Dallas Cowboys in Week 2. After looking totally out of sync in their Week 1 loss to the New York Giants , the Cowboys dismantled their other NFC East rivals, the Washington Commanders , in Week 2.
Playing at home surely helped, as did Washington quarterback Jayden Daniels going down with an injury, but the Cowboys offense looked much more like its usual self in Week 2. Quarterback Dak Prescott , in particular, was simply outstanding. Prescott completed 26-of-31 pass attempts for 279 yards and four touchdowns . It was the kind of performance that has Cowboys owner Jerry Jones dreaming of a Super Bowl once again.
Jerry Jones says Dak Prescott can be the best QB in the NFL and win a Super Bowl for the Cowboys
Jones admitted as much on his weekly local radio appearance for 105.3 The Fan . While gleaming with positivity, Jones couldn't help but praise Prescott in a way that even surprised Cowboys fans .
I think he's the poster child of any players I've been around. Of what you can do to self-improve. And he's a product of his own work ethic. He's a product of his focus on getting better every detail of his game. I'm happy to say that he is a better quarterback today than he's ever been. It's a position that if you approach it the he's approached his career, you will be a better player. I'm glad we've got him... How he got where he is, is to me a noteworthy leg on his chair of being the best. He could be the best out there as far as I'm concerned.
Jones went on to add that Prescott performing at " an extremely high level " gives the team " our best chance" to win a Super Bowl . The tune and vibes around the Cowboys have certainly shifted dramatically following their Week 1 setback.
