Maxx Crosby has a message for Jerry Jones as Cowboys trade rumors don't go away
Maxx Crosby puts an end to trade rumors and reveals where he wants to continue his NFL career.
L as Vegas Raiders star Maxx Crosby has put an end to speculation about his future with the franchise, making it clear that he has no intention of leaving despite persistent trade rumors. The defensive end reaffirmed his commitment to the team just before the Raiders’ Week 9 visit to the San Francisco 49ers (6-1) .
Amid reports suggesting a possible departure from Las Vegas, Crosby used his media availability on Wednesday to express his desire to stay with the Raiders.
“I love being a Raider, I’ve said that about a million times, this is where I want to be.”
The comments come after Las Vegas (4-4) secured an important 38-33 victory over the New York Jets in Week 8 , snapping a four-game losing streak against the Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots, and Los Angeles Rams.
Crosby remains one of the cornerstones of the Raiders’ defense. Through eight games in the 2026 season , he has recorded 22 tackles, three sacks, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and one pass defended.
In the win over the Jets, the edge rusher contributed four tackles and a sack, helping Las Vegas return to a .500 record before facing one of the toughest tests on its schedule.
Maxx Crosby clarifies his future with the Raiders after a turbulent offseason
Crosby’s remarks carry extra weight given what happened during the offseason, when his continued presence in Las Vegas was nearly ruled out following a trade agreement with the Baltimore Ravens .
The Raiders had agreed to send the defensive end to Baltimore in exchange for two first-round draft picks, including the No. 14 overall selection in 2026 and another in 2027 .
However, the Ravens backed out of the deal after concerns arose about Crosby’s knee — which had undergone surgery — during his medical examinations.
The collapsed trade fueled doubts about the edge rusher’s future, especially after Crosby himself shared some unusual details about his visit to Baltimore.
On an episode of his show The Rush With Maxx Crosby , he described an awkward meeting with Ravens head coach Jesse Minter and revealed that he never even got the chance to meet with the team’s general manager.
In the end, Crosby remained in Las Vegas to begin the 2026 season and is once again publicly stating his desire to stay with the Raiders.
The franchise, meanwhile, is trying to build a more competitive roster under head coach Klint Kubiak after a disappointing 3-14 campaign in 2025 .
Sitting at 4-4 and having regained some confidence with the win over the Jets, the Raiders will look to make another statement when they visit San Francisco. In the meantime, Crosby appears to know exactly where he wants to continue his career: Las Vegas.
