Micah Parsons has a message for Jerry Jones ahead of Cowboys game
Micah Parsons won't be chasing revenge against the Cowboys.

The Green Bay Packers have ruled out Micah Parsons from the start for the highly anticipated matchup against the Dallas Cowboys this Sunday on Sunday Night Footbal l, but the defensive star was once again the center of attention because of his comments off the field.
The linebacker generated conversation by stating that “if this were the Super Bowl, he would be ‘good to go,’ ” a remark that surprised many since he has not yet officially begun his return process after the anterior cruciate ligament tear he suffered last season.
Everything indicates that the Week 6 game against Dallas will not be the only one Parsons misses before returning to the field. However, the player himself made clear that he has no intention of rushing his recovery and that his priority is to come back completely healthy.
Expectations around the matchup rose because of Parsons’ past with the Cowboys, the team with which he became one of the best defensive players in the NFL before arriving in Green Bay . Many hoped he would look for a special performance against his former team, but the player himself dismissed any sense of revenge.

Micah Parsons is not looking for revenge against the Cowboys
Parsons said he does not need a “revenge” game against Dallas and that his only goal is to regain the health of his knees so he can compete at the highest level again.
“So many people wanted me to be back for that game to make the game bigger than what it was,” Parsons said.
It’s just another Sunday Night Football game against two good teams. It’s not about me. I think that probably let people down. ‘Oh, Micah, he’s going to want to be back for the Dallas game.’ No, I’m in that phase of life where I just wanna be healthy again. That’s it. I don’t care about the team I left or the team they think I want my revenge against. I don’t need revenge. I just need two healthy knees to do what I love to do.
Previously, Parsons had also left a statement that sparked conversation:
“If the Super Bowl was this week, I’m playing in the Super Bowl.”
“But it’s just about me making sure I have all the small things fixed first.”
When will Micah Parsons return to the Packers?
For now, the Packers have not set a date for Parsons’ return. However, his addition could completely change the potential of a defense that has already shown significant improvement.
Although some fans hoped to see him back specifically against the Cowboys , his comments were taken as a sign of maturity and of focus on the most important goal: being ready when the decisive part of the season arrives.
Parsons could have looked for a memorable performance against the franchise where he was an All-Pro , but his priority is different: to recover fully and once again be the dominant player that Green Bay expects to have in the stretch run.
