Michael Irvin loses his temper and insults the Cowboys players: “Jokers”
The Super Bowl winner hits out at Dallas after their loss to the Green Bay Packers

Michael Irvin has delivered a scathing assessment of the Dallas Cowboys after their 23-13 defeat to the Green Bay Packers , questioning whether the latest setback will prompt any meaningful improvement.
The franchise legend expects more disappointment unless the team addresses the defensive problems that have repeatedly undermined its performances as the loss at Lambeau Field marked Dallas ' third defeat in a primetime game this season, leaving the Cowboys at 2-4.
Irvin was particularly frustrated by the familiar mistakes he witnessed against Green Bay , insisting the NFC East team's latest performance offered little reason to believe a turnaround was imminent.
“I couldn’t even put nothing with that, like hoping that that would be the last,” Irvin said on The White House podcast. “I know this won’t be the last with them jokers out there playing the way they’re playing.
“This, I knew was going to happen. That’s why I sucked it and enjoyed all of my victories Saturday night. I enjoyed my victory Saturday night because I knew Sunday night was going to be different. And it was. The same exact things, man.”
His anger centered on Dallas ' inability to prevent opposing receivers from finding space in its secondary as the Cowboys entered the matchup with Green Bay after an underwhelming defensive display against Tampa Bay Rays .
And the former wide receiver believes the issues remain unresolved heading into a Week 7 clash with the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football.
“I saw the exact same s**t I’ve been seeing in all the other weeks,” Irvin said. “People running wide open in the flats. People running wide over across the field. We sat here and watched football all day long.
“I have not seen anyone running as wide open as we saw when we watched the Green Bay Packers wide receiver running through that secondary of the Dallas Cowboys.”
Cowboys struggle as Prescott's turnovers prove costly
Jordan Love completed 23 of 41 passes for 276 yards, throwing one touchdown and one interception as his numbers could have been even better, with Matthew Golden dropping two potential scoring passes and Christian Watson unable to complete another catch.
Love connected with Golden for a nine-yard touchdown on the Packers ' opening drive before scoring on a one-yard run. Green Bay 's offense created further opportunities throughout the contest, while its defense restricted Dallas to just 13 points.
Whilst Dak Prescott completed 34 of 54 passes for 258 yards, throwing a late six-yard touchdown to Ryan Flournoy . However, interceptions halted consecutive Cowboys possessions that had reached inside Green Bay 's 30-yard line.
The Cowboys trailed 17-0 at halftime, their first scoreless opening half since November 2021 and also committed 11 penalties for 108 yards in a game that featured 22 flags between the teams, meaning the Dallas needed to correct their mistakes rather than repeat them.
