The Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders took Brazil by storm before the Cowboys’ dramatic clash with the Baltimore Ravens , bringing their trademark energy to Rio de Janeiro while Dak Prescott and his teammates prepared for a night they won’t soon forget.

With both teams entering the Week 3 international matchup at 1-1, attention naturally centered on the players. However, the Cowboys Cheerleaders quickly became a major part of the spectacle surrounding the game at the iconic Maracanã Stadium.

The squad embraced its Brazilian adventure, sharing glimpses of Rio’s landmarks, rehearsals and preparations for the matchup.

They explored the city, posed at some of its famous locations and gave fans plenty of behind-the-scenes content as they adjusted to a very different game-day environment.

The cheerleaders also teamed up with Brazilian dancers for a preview of the halftime entertainment, combining the familiar Cowboys brand with local Brazilian flair. Their appearance quickly attracted attention online, with Flamengo sharing footage of the squad taking part in a dance challenge in Rio.

The Cowboys weren’t the only team represented away from the field. Baltimore’s cheerleaders participated in an NFL Flag Football clinic, giving young girls in Brazil an opportunity to step onto the field, learn about the sport and experience some of the excitement surrounding the NFL’s international visit.

The atmosphere was electric, but the evening ultimately ended very differently for Dallas’ biggest stars.

A spectacular finish leaves Prescott furious

The Cowboys appeared to have rescued the game when Brandon Aubrey converted a 23-yard field goal with seven seconds remaining, tying Baltimore 31-31. With virtually no time left, overtime looked like the obvious outcome.

Instead, Lamar Jackson immediately changed the script. Dallas sent the kickoff into the end zone for a touchback, giving Baltimore possession at its own 35-yard line with seven seconds remaining.

Jackson then delivered under pressure, completing a 27-yard pass to Zay Flowers. Flowers got out of bounds, allowing the Ravens to stop the clock with one second remaining. Tyler Loop stepped onto the field and drilled a 56-yard field goal as time expired, giving Baltimore a stunning 34-31 victory.

The kick was especially significant for Loop , whose last-second miss against Pittsburgh in Baltimore’s previous season finale had ended the Ravens’ playoff hopes. This time, he became the hero, celebrating with Cristiano Ronaldo’s famous “Siu” celebration before being lifted by his teammates.

Prescott , meanwhile, was left visibly frustrated. After the game, the Cowboys quarterback said he was “frustrated as hell” and “embarrassed,” emphasizing that Dallas had opportunities to close out the contest but failed to do so.

"Frustrated," Prescott said after the loss. "Frustrated as hell. Excuse me. Embarrassed. We don't call ourselves the best offense, GOTI, and get down to the one-yard line and don't put it in. Yeah, it just sucks.

“Not a lot of words or full explanation of it. Defense shouldn't even have been in that position. Those guys were over there saying 'it's on us,' absolutely not. We've got to put the game away, period."

Despite the painful defeat, Prescott praised the experience of playing in Brazil. The Cowboys now return home at 1-2, while the Ravens leave Rio with one of the most dramatic victories of the young season.
