Former New England Patriots coach and current University of North Carolina football coach Bill Belichick, 74, delivered a sarcastic response when a reporter questioned him about his reported breakup with Jordon Hudson, 25, during a November 2, 2026, press conference.

WRAL reporter Brian Murphy asked whether the alleged split could affect the football program. Belichick responded by questioning whether Murphy worked for a tabloid before saying he preferred to keep his personal relationships private.

TMZ first reported on October 30 that Belichick and Hudson had quietly ended their romantic relationship in late 2025. People subsequently reported that they remain close friends and continue their business partnerships. Despite the alleged breakup, Hudson has continued attending UNC football games and appearing alongside Belichick. Neither has publicly confirmed the split.
