CeeDee Lamb’s epic full-back tattoo is back in the spotlight, and the process was intense

CeeDee Lamb is accustomed to taking hits on the football field, but one of his most intense experiences away from the Dallas Cowboys came in a tattoo studio. A resurfaced video showing Lamb getting an enormous, custom-designed tattoo across his entire back is attracting attention again, reminding NFL fans of the extraordinary commitment behind the wide receiver's body art. The session took place in the summer of 2025, when Lamb underwent an eight-plus-hour tattoo process that involved four artists working on his back at the same time. The result was far more than a small tribute or a simple piece of artwork. Lamb's back became a sprawling mural featuring the late NBA legend Kobe Bryant, a Black Mamba, a tiger and a Spartan, with the imagery reflecting themes associated with the basketball icon and Lamb's own competitive identity.
