Inside Nashville’s $2.1 Billion Nissan Stadium Set to Host Super Bowl 2030
The Tennessee Titans are building one of the NFL’s most ambitious new venues — and Nashville is already preparing for its biggest sporting event ever.

N ASHVILLE — A new era is taking shape on the banks of the Cumberland River.
The Tennessee Titans’ new Nissan Stadium , a $2.1 billion project, is under construction and scheduled to open in 2027. Just three years later, the venue will welcome Super Bowl LXIV , bringing the NFL’s biggest game to Nashville for the first time.
The project is much more than a new home for the Titans. It is designed to become a year-round destination for football, concerts, major sporting events and entertainment.
With a capacity of approximately 60,000 fans, Nissan Stadium will feature a translucent roof, allowing events to take place throughout the year while protecting spectators from Nashville’s weather.
And the experience inside will be dramatically different from the Titans’ current home.
Fans will sit approximately 38% closer to the field, creating a more intimate atmosphere for NFL games. The stadium will also include outdoor terraces, panoramic views of Nashville and more than 15 spaces designed for events and hospitality.
Nashville’s Super Bowl moment
The biggest test will come in 2030.
Super Bowl LXIV will make Nashville the center of the American sports world, giving the city its first opportunity to host the NFL championship game.
The choice is another recognition of Nashville’s rapid growth as a sports and entertainment destination.
The city already proved its ability to host major NFL events when the 2019 NFL Draft brought more than 200,000 people to downtown Nashville.
Now, the city is preparing for an event on an entirely different scale.
More than a football stadium
The new Nissan Stadium is part of Nashville’s massive East Bank redevelopment and is expected to become one of the city’s defining landmarks.
For the Titans, it will provide a modern home built specifically around the fan experience.
For Nashville, it represents an opportunity to compete for the biggest sporting and entertainment events in the world.
The stadium is expected to open in 2027.
Then, in 2030, Nashville will take center stage when Super Bowl LXIV arrives at Nissan Stadium.
